Architecture and the urban landscape occupy a special place in the collection. The city in Grev Kafi's work does not serve as a backdrop: it becomes a bearer of memory, history and human labor.
Especially telling are views of Chișinău, Kamianets-Podilskyi, Old Orhei and other places, where architecture merges with landscape.
Context
Sometimes this is not a literal record but a compositional assembly — joining houses, façades and architectural accents into a single image conveying the character of a place.
In this way the city becomes a portrait of culture: the memory of a place is read through stone, façade and perspective.
